Jarjeer Mules welcomed two new arrivals in March, Alice and Henri.
Alice
Alice was rescued after coming to the end of her working life. She was saved from abandonment and possible slaughter. Poor Alice hasn't had it easy, she was apparently falling over when her owner tried to work her. She has scars from years of wearing a heavy saddle. Alice is old and exhausted, but we are slowly feeding her up to get her strength back. We are hopeful that she will feel better soon with enough love and care from us at Jarjeer.
Henri
Henri came to us only very recently and arrived seriously malnourished, but don't worry we'll fed him up so he'll again be a strong donkey. We hope Henri eats up all this food and gets better soon so he have the strength to play with all his new donkey and mules friends.
